FEJS Conference 2009

The Forum for European Journalism Students is an annual conference that gathers together some of Europe’s most ambitious journalism students and brings them together for a week of invaluable conferences with top media moguls from the chosen host country’s outlets, big and small. It is a non-profit organisation that has been going strong for over two decades.

The brief was to build a news portal to keep the students from across Europe up to date with the planned event schedule, various contacts and so on. After the conference had ended, the site was used to display the work of those who attended. The site was built on the WordPress CMS to enable an easy to use and updatable news system for the client. The site was needed as soon as possible – so I managed a 24 hour turnaround.
